Meet Erica

Hello, I’m Erica — birth and postpartum doula, student midwife, and proud mother of two.
My journey into birth work began with my own experiences as a mother. Through two natural births and extended breastfeeding, I experienced firsthand how powerful, vulnerable, and transformative this season can be. Those experiences shaped my calling to ensure other women feel supported, informed, and respected in their own birth journeys.
I began my academic path pursuing nursing studies at Towson University and BCCC, building a strong foundation in health sciences and child development. Over time, I realized my true calling was walking alongside families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — not just clinically, but holistically.
Today, I have supported over 40 families and attended 25+ births. I provide steady, evidence-based, and culturally-centered care rooted in preparation, advocacy, and compassion. I am certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), CPR, and First Aid, ensuring safety and skill are always part of the support I provide.
I am especially passionate about improving maternal outcomes for Black and Brown families and ensuring every mother feels safe and heard in her birth space. Birth should never feel isolating or disempowering.
I am currently a student midwife at the Midwives College of Utah, working toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). Providing comprehensive, holistic care during pregnancy and childbirth has been my passion since I was eight years old.
Birth is sacred work to me.
My goal is that you leave your experience feeling informed, supported, respected, and empowered.
It would be an honor to walk this journey with you.
