Lovinghands Doula Birth and Postpartum Services supports expectant parents before, during, and after childbirth. I'm an experienced professional dedicated to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and memorable birthing experience for you and your family.
We are catering to clients in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia), Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey regions.
Birth Packages
Birth Support Package:
Access credible resources and evidence-based information to empower you in making well-informed decisions. Engage in partner/doula exercises focused on massage techniques and pain management strategies. Throughout each prenatal visit, we will delve into Spinning Babies techniques, emphasizing the importance of comprehending your baby's position and how balance, movement, and gravity play pivotal roles in facilitating a smooth birthing experience.
A 50% retainer of the total amount is due with the signed contract. Payment is divided into three parts.
Standard package:

• One prenatal planning meeting at 37 weeks, create a birth plan,
• On-call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks
• Home labor, birth center, and hospital support

Premium package:

• Baby room organization
• On-call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks
• THREE MEALS prepared at home (Day of postpartum visit only). The client provides the food.
• 3 hours of in-home postpartum support
Additional services include live birth pictures or placenta encapsulation (add-on fee)
Postpartum Packages
Postpartum Support Packages:
Postpartum morning/evening care for the first week after birth:

Emotional Support: Listen and provide a safe space for parents to express their feelings and concerns. Offer reassurance and encouragement during moments of doubt or anxiety.

Newborn Care: Teach parents how to handle and care for their newborn, including diapering, bathing, and soothing techniques.
Three hours, one day a week, $650 due at signing the contract. A travel fee is necessary for distances exceeding 32 miles.

Daytime/evening support includes

(5) hours of daytime shifts to allow time for relaxation, healing, and self-care. • Assistance with dressing, feeding, and napping for baby • Calm and nonjudgmental listener who hears your concerns and builds your confidence, talk about roles of which partner will stay home or if the child is going to childcare. Breastfeeding Support/Education and light household chores

Three days a week for three weeks.

Package B:
Evening/Overnight Care:
Overnight care includes
• (8) hours overnight to allow you to sleep while the baby is soothed, helping establish healthy feeding and sleeping patterns. • Assistance with feeding and bottle cleaning. • Light housekeeping, baby laundry, and baby room organization.
Four days a week for up to three weeks.

Birth, and Postpartum combined package $5500
I understand that the birth experience and the postpartum period can be challenging for new parents. I offer a comprehensive doula package with personalized support for birth and postpartum experiences. As your doula, I will work with you to create a birth plan that aligns with your preferences, providing emotional and physical support throughout the birthing process. After your little one has arrived, I will assist you with postpartum care for the first two months, 5 days a week, answering your questions and providing guidance on infant care, breastfeeding, and more.

Sibling Doula $30 Hourly
Sibling doulas offer a variety of activities, including active playtime, engaging projects, and special activities like creating a birth cake or cards for the new baby. They also discuss the new arrival, helping your child process their feelings and concerns. In addition to emotional support, sibling doulas can assist with practical tasks while you are in the hospital, taking care of cooking, bedtime routines, and other daily needs your child may have. With a sibling doula by your side, you can rest assured that your child is receiving the love and attention they need during this important time of transition.
Hourly Rate For Postpartum $45
My services are available for an hourly rate of $45 if you prefer to pay by the hour for postpartum care. Let me support you through this exciting journey.
